New General Manager for Qioptiq in China

 Ho Hon Cheong has been named as the new
General Manager
of Qioptiq's China operation.

Ho will be seconded to Changchun Qioptiq Co. Ltd (QCN) to
succeed James Voon as General Manager when
James completes his two-year posting on 31 Aug 09. 
 Ho will take over the marketing and sales activities
for QCN from 1 June before assuming the GM's position.

Meanwhile, James will return to Singapore in the role
of Production Mgr (Lens Optics) with effect from 1 Sept 09.

Qioptiq established its Chinese operation in July 2007.
QCN manufactures precision optical components for
civil applications and supports the Group's
main Asia operation in Sngapore with
a variety of manufacturing and support functions.
